The Anti-Radiation™ Grounding & EMF Shielding Blanket is a soft, multi-purpose layer for the sofa, bed, desk or lap. It combines a comfortable grey outer surface with a conductive taupe grounding side and an internal shielding fabric, giving you a more practical alternative to rigid shielding boards or mats.

Use it as a soft barrier between your body and a laptop, tablet or phone, or connect it to the supplied UK grounding lead when you want to use the grounding function. It is generously sized at 190 × 140 cm — the only size currently available.

How It Works

The blanket has two distinct outer sides. The soft grey side is the comfort-facing side. The taupe conductive side contains the snap connection point and is the side to place towards your body when using the grounding function. Between the outer layers is a conductive shielding fabric intended to help create a physical barrier between your body and nearby electronic devices.

Shielding performance depends on coverage, positioning, signal type, device output and your surrounding environment. This product is not designed to shield low-frequency magnetic fields from power lines, transformers, household wiring or electrical current flow.

How to Use

For grounding: first confirm that the socket is correctly earthed using a suitable socket or grounding tester. Snap the supplied lead onto the blanket’s connection point, then insert its UK grounding plug into the tested wall socket. Place the conductive taupe side towards your body. The lead is for grounding use only and does not power the blanket.

For laptop, tablet or phone use: place the blanket between your body and the device. Keep laptops stable and leave all vents, fans and heat outlets unobstructed. Do not wrap a charging or warm device tightly in the blanket.

For sofa or bed use: drape the blanket over your lap or body as you would a normal throw. If using the grounding function, make sure the lead is secure, untangled and routed safely.
