Why Air-Tube?
Bluetooth headphones are convenient, but they rely on wireless electronics positioned beside your ears and require regular charging and pairing. Ordinary wired headphones remove the Bluetooth connection, but still place electrical speaker drivers inside the earcups.
DefenderShield Air-Tube Headphones work differently. The speaker drivers sit further down the cable, while hollow air tubes carry the sound the remaining distance to your ears. This creates physical separation between your ears and the powered speakers, while providing the simplicity of a familiar wired connection.
The thick over-ear cushions also seal around your ears to cut out background noise, so they suit busy offices, commutes and shared homes. They are a practical choice for remote workers, students, frequent callers and anyone looking to reduce their everyday reliance on Bluetooth without giving up private, comfortable listening.

Are these noise cancelling headphones?
Not in the active sense. Active noise cancelling (ANC) needs powered electronics and a battery inside the earcups, which is exactly what the air-tube design avoids. Instead, the over-ear cushions physically block outside sound, known as passive noise isolation. This works well on everyday background noise such as conversation, keyboards and household sounds. It is less effective than ANC on constant low-frequency hum, such as engine noise on a plane or train.
