Semi-transparent shielding with a soft, modern finish
This semi-transparent fabric is designed for shielding high-frequency electromagnetic fields (HF) and is ideal for creating elegant net curtains, room dividers or custom bed canopies. The Swiss Shield® EVOLUTION-ULTRA Fabric is woven with conductive copper/silver threads and offers a manufacturer-stated shielding attenuation of 36 dB.
EVOLUTION-ULTRA Fabric is crafted in Switzerland from crease-resistant polyester. It is washable, easy to iron and easy to work with, and has a semi-transparent light grey finish. It shields high-frequency fields up to 40 GHz.
Grounding
EVOLUTION-ULTRA is an electrically conductive fabric. No earthing is needed when it is used to shield radio-frequency sources such as WiFi, mobile phones and masts. If you also want to reduce low-frequency electric fields, the fabric should be grounded. Please ask us if you need advice.
