Signal Protect Clear RF Shielding Window Film is designed to be applied directly to suitable glass surfaces where radio frequency shielding is required.
Before ordering, measure your glass area carefully and allow extra material where needed for trimming, alignment and installation adjustments. As this product is supplied as a custom cut size, it is important to check your measurements before placing your order.
Before installation, measure the area with a suitable RF meter to identify whether windows are a major entry point for external wireless signals. RF shielding works best when the strongest signal direction and surrounding leakage points are understood before installation.
Clean the glass thoroughly before application. The film uses a water-activated adhesive and should be installed carefully to avoid trapped dust, bubbles, creases or gaps around the edges.
Installation should not begin if the glass temperature is below 5°C / 40°F. For larger windows, professional installation is recommended for the cleanest finish and best long-term performance.
If multiple sections are required, plan joins carefully to reduce gaps in the shielding layer. For complete room shielding, remember that signals may still enter through unshielded walls, ceilings, floors, doors, vents or window frames.
